Hi folks,
About 60 mins into my Quantitative section, when I pressed the "Next Question" button after answering a particular question, instead of going to the next question the Quantitative section was abruptly ended. My 7.5 minutes break period started before I could understand what had happened. I raised an alarm, but the test center executives didn't know what to make of it. They advised me to continue with the Verbal section and take it up with the GMAC later.
I got a vague reply from program coordinator after 6 business days and 2 weekends that timers were appropriate. I believe it will take them another 6 days to reply what 'Appropriate' means in numbers.
In the meanwhile, I want to know if the person giving the test get an option anywhere in the screen to end the section. Because my section definitely ended in 60 minutes. I want to understand if by mistake I clicked somewhere in the screen and my section ended in 60 minutes.

I don't remember seeing an "end exam" button during my GMAT, and I think it's there only in the practice tests. As far as I know, ending an exam without finishing the test (questions/time) is a manual process, and no scores are given for such attempts.
