what is the max/minimum you can get? You are saying you got a 33 out of an expected 700?

Guys,
i took the GMAT and i got a shocking 590 (Q44, V27). Had got 660 (Q48, V33) in August. Never in my life i imagined such a score.
Disappointed. Disheartened.

Experience.

AWAs went fine. I had read chineseburned's writeup.

Quant started off nicely. My previous score in Quant was 48 and i am pretty comfortable with it and actually thought i could get 50. But around midway, i started getting tougher questions and lost track of time, which i find my biggest mistake. I had been preparing using only GMATprep since last few days and i didnt bother about time. In the end i guesses on around 8 questions. Which is the reason i got 44.

Verbal started off. I kept thinking of my Quant and how i had already scrwed my chances. So couldnt give my best here as well.

I am numb right now and don't know what to do.
Still want to give GMAT another try.

Its painful.

hey. hold your head up high. I usually get 660's at home too but at least you got 40 points higher than me. Imagine how I felt when I saw that 550 pop up. I swore I didn't know whether to laugh or cry because I was so confused. And that was october (this year) and I'm already back on it. Gonna give GMAT hell this month soon when I see it again. Focus on your weakness. Like timing. I went in with the idea that I needed to lose a few battles (questions) to win the war (my overall score).
