GMAT ToolKit: iPhone/iPod/iPad/Android application

1.4.2 update (landscape orientation for iPad + challenging questions/information from Manhattan GMAT) will be available in a few days, but we don't stop and are finishing 1.4.3. update that we are going to submit next week.

What's a new partner that comes to GMAT Toolkit? It's Knewton, one of the top tier test prep companies.

Are the questions in GMAT toolkit different from the club tests ? If I buy both would there be a overlap and if so which would be a better resource for tougher verbal questions ?

I think there is a right moment to start developing for Android. We debated a lot over the issue (I strongly supported iPad expansion first and thought that neither Android market nor GMAT ToolKit were mature enough to justify investments). This month we hit a key milestone and I can say that we officially start developing GMAT app for Android market. That's a lot of work (we don't want to create average app) and takes time but today is a right moment.

I was waiting for the update 1.4.2 eagerly as it has proposed this time for the scratch pad. I just visited itunes site but there is no mention of scratch pad in what's new section. Can you please let me know whether it has it or not.

Yes, there is a scratch pad for iPhone/iPod in 1.4.2 (for iPad it will be available in 1.4.3 update). Thanks for the question, have to add this to the description.

Just started downloading the APP. As i travel a lot and just can't make calculations in air.

Great! Let me know what do you think about it. By the way, there is a calculator inside of the app that I guess can help too.

Just got my iPhone 4 a couple of days ago and I fell in love with Retina display

By the way, 1.4.4 update is in work and as always we have a couple of big ideas

1.4.4 update will bring:

+ 200 additional hard math questions from GMAT Club's Tests with explanations.
+ pause mode in the Book tool (suggested by Gmatexam2009 (Thanks!))
+ starting from 1.4.4 an interesting feature will appear in GMAT ToolKit as a result of our long term (~ 6 months) project recently started. It's just a first step but it will be really useful at the end. So, be ready for a little surprise when you find something that is not mentioned in the description
