Hello PeterJP1011,

Welcome to the GMAT Club. It is one of the great platforms to get information about the GMAT official test, Study plan, Section wise instructions, etc.

The official GMAT exam tests the candidate’s ability to manage time, handle pressure, apply the learned concept, and score better. GMAT is not as easy as we assume. GMAT math is logic, rather than general math skill, and verbal is a real language test and a logic skill test of an individual.

Your current GMAT score is shaky. You can schedule a Comprehensive counseling session for 30 mins with one of our expertshttps://calendly.com/mathrevolution/1-on-1-session for detailed advice on your current study plans.

We also offer 1:1 private tutoring with our top-rated professional tutors.

You can discuss all your doubts and strategies to score high with our math experts.

We appreciate your time and patience in reading this reply.

Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@mathrevolution.com.

Success is within your reach.
Good luck!

Look at the local covid policies if it allows for in person coaching

I'd be happy to help you with a strategy

First understand the concepts - then apply those for both q and v
have an error log

take mocks every 3 days starting a week to analyse what your weak areas are and strengthen your concepts there
also focus on quality over quantity

Stick to manhattan/veritas and OG (maybe wiley, empower, egmat)

gmatclub is a resource to practice questions and you should give your best

Well I have already know my weakness which is related to fluid intelligence in which I'm lacking off. Improvement take ages.

No, ESR may seems useless - as indicated on this forum

You seem to have all the answers then 😂

1) ESR is not useless. It can definetly help you understand where you went wrong on the D-day

2) since you lack fluid intelligence what'd you get out of a tutor?

3) when are you planning to retake and what materials do you have

4) Would you be willing to invest in a course for gmat prep

2) To provide the feedback I may not know and to assess my personality (how I read, write, interpret, calculate) that may affect the score
3) Before 15 Apr
4) Yes, but again must be in-person

I would recommend against that particular company that shares the name with Manhattan GMAT. 😬

AndrewN
Hello, PeterJP1011. Have you tried Manhattan Review? (Note: this company is different from Manhattan Prep.) I see on the website that there is a Bangkok location, and the prices look lower than what you have offered above. Alternatively, you could try GMAT Genius or even a tutor aggregate site such as University Tutor. Just pitching a few ideas, since I think it is less likely that someone in this forum will see your post and step forward to take you up on your offer. (And even then, the person might not be as reliable as someone at one of the sites listed above.)

Good luck in your search for the right tutor, and also with your studies.

- Andrew

HI PeterJP011,

I’m curious, can you tell me how you prepared for your initial GMAT?

-- for how long did you study?

-- what resources did you use?

Hi PeterJP1011,

Many GMATers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores, so if you studied for just a few HOURS before taking your Official GMAT, then you would not have learned and mastered all of the necessary skills needed to hit a 600+. By extension, since April 15th is just a little more than 5 weeks away, there will likely be a limit to how much you can improve in that time. Unfortunately, "cramming" rarely leads to great results with Exams such as the GMAT - and while I understand that probably really want to apply as soon as possible, if the REAL Goal is to get into this School (and you "need" a 600+), then that Score Goal has to come first - and you might need to consider pushing back your Test Date and application.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on your timeline and your goals:

1) For your first attempt, did you take the At-home GMAT or did you take your GMAT at a Test Center?
2) For your next attempt, are you planning to take the At-home GMAT or are you planning to take your GMAT at a Test Facility?
3) When is the next application deadline after April 15th for this Program?
4) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

Thank you for all of your answer. Unfortunately, upon carefully considering all of the options I have. I have decided to give up for GMAT and face reality.
