Hello All,
Im a 1999 passed graduate and am planning to take GMAT and then go for my higher studies in a business school
I had taken practise tests twice after starting my prep and scored a low 540 and 570.
I was preparing with OG 12. The problem Im facing is in SC and RC where Im not able to solve the difficult questions. In RC, the passages are so complex that Im unable to get to the gist of the passage in one read.
In SC, the logic I apply goes wrong against the choices given.
The problem is that Im unable to overcome the sitation of not being able to understand these 2 sections unlike Quant where I know - ok, this is the problem and next time, I shall not repeat it / ok, I undestood this.... Basically, I feel there is a cache somewhere and Im unable to catch it.
Pls advise how I overcome this problem so that I can be confident in my prep and also am convinced to take the GMAT successfully.

I am no pro myself, but from my own research through this forum and other sources I think that you should reserve the OG for the latter part of your preparation. Taking the time to go through the concepts and practice questions in a set of books like the Manhattan GMAT ones or any other similar material you might encounter through a prep course or so would be ideal.
The OG questions are typically harder and are more reflective of the actual GMAT. So don't waste them on your initial practice!
