Hoping to get some advice. I studied long and hard for the GMAT and more or less bombed the test. I took a number of months off, and now I am thinking of attacking taking the exam again. With that being said, I have been heavily considering taking the GRE as I think it caters to my skill sets more, and it feels more comfortable. Would you advise against this or would this be an OK option? I feel like I am at this cross road, and I am really struggling with which way to go. I feel like I dont want to discount the hours and money I spent on the GMAT, but just one practice test with the GRE and I felt 100x more comfortable. I don't want to make the wrong decision and screw up my exam again. If anyone can provide advice it would be much appreciated.

GRE is increasingly gaining acceptance in B-Schools admission process. A great GRE score is certainly better than an average GMAT score. Find out whether your target schools accept GRE - if they do, go ahead with it. If you are worrying about the hours and money spent on GMAT, think about the hours and money you will spend reapplying to B schools if you don't get admit the first time with a low GMAT score.

Is it just a feeling or can you say why exactly you feel much more comfortable with the GRE? I am just curious
