Thank you for the quick reply!
I never applied to anything with my GRE score. I took it 3 years ago when I was considering other graduate programs, but ultimately decided not to move forward.
Before the GMATPrep today, I didn't study very much. I did some of the sample questions on the GMATPrep software, but not all of them. I had looked over some of the
Magoosh flashcards on my phone (I got through Algebra, Fractions, and part of Geometry), but I didn't know things on the Prep test like the properties of exponents (oops), prime factors (ugh), etc. I ended up just guessing on those questions and moving on since I was running low on time. I also took an online trial
Manhattan Prep course, which was free. They helped explain a bit about the data sufficiency questions, but didn't cover much else. My mental math is also quite poor, which means I end up writing out multiplication and long division, which certainly doesn't help my timing.
Other than that, the only prep I have was from taking the GRE 3 years ago, where I studied the Ultimate Math Refresher (
https://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Math-Re ... 967759404/) and GRE/GMAT Math: A Systematic Approach (
https://www.amazon.com/GRE-GMAT-Math-Sy ... 453633987/). Sadly, I've forgotten most of what was in those books, and I wrote all over them, so they aren't too useful for studying again.
I guess I'm just wondering if I should play to my strengths by taking the GRE again, with its comparatively easier math, or if I should push myself and try and improve on GMAT math, which I found very difficult. I think I may have answered my own question there (push myself!), but I wanted to check in with some GMAT experts to get their opinions. I was just a bit shocked today to see my quant percentile be so low, but considering how hard the test was for me, it's not exactly surprising.
