Hello All,
I received a GMAT Waiver from some of the top universities for PartTime MBA as I have 1) MS 2) 14+ Years of experience and last 5 years as a Manager.
My questions
1) Is it really valuable to enroll in an MBA without GMAT?
2) Can I apply for any scholarships within the University or outside?

Congratulations for the waiver.
Below are the answers:
1) Is it really valuable to enroll in an MBA without GMAT? --> Check your target industries post MBA and determine whether they need GMAT Scores. As far as I know, most of the consulting firms do look for GMAT. So, it depends from company to company. If your target industry isn't looking for GMAT, then it is perfectly fine to do an MBA without GMAT.
2) Can I apply for any scholarships within the University or outside? -> Again, it depends on university to university and the type of Scholarship you are looking for. For example, some universities give merit based scholarships where GPA and GMAT becomes important factors while some have other types of scholarships. Check with universities you are applying.

Hi,
Thank You for you response Abhimahna. I currently work at a large Fortune 500 product based corporation in the US and my goal is to continue working for these companies and NOT a consulting company. Do you think Product companies look for GMAT?
What other Scholarship types are available and how do I start my research. Can you provide me some pointers to resources?
