Decision tracker for MIT/Ross/Darden/Cornell/UBC does not show any applicant who got waiver and admitted. Was the hole idea of GMAT waiver a sham? Not sure what the schools were trying to do there.

It is not. I know a few who got admission into Ross with a GMAT waiver. Also, I am wondering how did you check the waiver information on the decision tracker?

I think the schools were trying to make the admission process a bit easier for MBA candidates during this tough year. We've had candidates with GMAT waivers who got admitted into MIT, USC, Darden, NYU, Cornell, and others with no GMAT who were invited to interviews at many top schools.
