Hi. I recently scored 565 on GMAT Focus with 81 as quant score (approx 600 gmat classic). As this score is below most averages for MBA in Canada (rotman, ivey, smith), should I submit this score in my application or get a GMAT waiver through my CFA? Please suggest.

Your Quant score is solid, but given that 565 is below the average for top Canadian MBA programs, securing a waiver through your CFA could be a viable option—especially if the rest of your profile is strong. Schools often consider CFA Level 2 or Level 3 as evidence of quantitative ability, but policies vary, so check with each program directly.
If you have time and think you can improve, retaking the GMAT may strengthen your application. A higher score could give you a competitive edge, particularly at programs like Rotman and Ivey, where the GMAT plays a significant role. If a waiver is an option, weigh whether the rest of your application (work experience, academics, essays) compensates for the missing test score.
