Hey everyone,
I am new to this forum so I hope I am not posting the question in the wrong section.
In any case I wanted to ask you an advice. I recently graduated from on of the top business universities in Europe where I got my Bachelor's degree in international economics, finance and management.
My plan is to apply to an MBA, but I read that most of the b-schools require some years of work experience (I have only had a few experiences of internships) so I guess I will have to give up the idea of starting an MBA next year
Anyhow, I have already started studying for the GMAT one month ago because I thought that it could be better to take it now, since I am fresh in terms of studying and everything, rather than taking it in the next years.
Now the question that comes to my mind is: is it actually good to prepare it and taking it now (in 3 months more or less) or should I prepare it once I have already experienced some years of work experience? I dont know if I am "wasting" my time at the moment or not.

It really depends on what are your strengths / weakness. If you are very good at Quant or verbal, you don't need to practice both sections and can devote your time to one section. Three months seem ideal for GMAT, but it depends on person to person.
When to take GMAT => I would say when your mock scores are close to your target score, then take the GMAT. The most reliable mock exams are GMAT prep and GMATprep Exam pack 1. Since, these exams are designed by the test makers and come closest to what you would experience on the actual Exam.

It completely make sense to take the gmat now, since your mind is still in learning mode and you have started preparation as well.Better to give yourself good time to grasp the basics and then take gmat.
After that you can apply to bschools in 2-3 years from now.
