Hi,

I shamelessly took advantage of the free test day lol .. took 8 cat verbal tests

1, 29
2,38
3, 25
4,26
5,31
6,34
7,39
8,38

I saw two questions twice .. but I got them wrong anyway lol ..didn’t have time to check the explanations

I took mba prep 1 two months ago almost without any preparation ,V40
Free preps from Manhattan , Kaplan , economics .... basically the lowest was 33 ... highest was 38

Gmatclub has the hardest CR ...btw , English is not my native tongue . Some of the CR questions are way too long and abstract
SC questions are not like OG questions . OG does not have that many questions that ask you to choose between two prepositions ( to,at,of ,in,on...)
RC is my weakest link , but I did pretty well(better than I could have hoped for ) in the cat tests .

I’m planning to take the test either the end of Nov or the beginning of Dec . If I can get 36 + in verbal , I will be totally delighted . As for maths , I’m working on it . Anything under 50 would be a big failure for me.

Wow! That's great

Really cool you were able to take advantage of this. Good Luck!
Next free day is Nov 22. Only 3 weeks!

P.S. The question duplicate tells me we have 2 questions that are filed with different ID's but are the same or very similar question, which means we will have to hunt one of them down and remove. (This sometimes happens when multiple moderators edit/add questions, an unfortunate side effect).

How did you find the verbal CATs? I mean how realistic are they?

Honestly , I don’t know . I have not taken the rest test yet ,but I can say that a lot of the gmatclub verbal questions are very different from OG questions .
When I took the MBA prep 1 , I thought it was not very hard . I believe official prep tests everything within the scope of OG .
