Lets do this gmat style:
Assumption:
All threads were started around the same time:
Fact CBS has EA and hence a much earlier deadline.
So its not necessarily the most popular.
Assumption 2:
All posts are related to the school for which the thread was started.
Some of these threads have people talking about stuff from other schools to even basketball (DUKE)
so that also muffles up these stats.
I thought about this a while ago and its fun to see it but it doesnt really mean anything
Just for fun sakes...
I could argue that Tuck and Haas have lower class strengths which relate to a relatively lower number of people applying to those schools compared to CBS that takes in more than two times those schools' numbers (240 versus ~600?). Implies - fewer people applying to Tuck on GC than people applying to CBS, so less traffic on those threads for Tuck versus CBS
So "popularity" is somewhat skewed
A better way would be to divide the total number of views by the students enrolled(better number would be admitted)
For example -
CBS weighted number would come out to be about 710 (views/600) and Haas would be 688 (views/240)? Even better number would be views/admitted. So now we could compare the weighted numbers and then conclude what are the popular ones?
