Hi All,
I have taken 2
gmatclub tests beta verbal cats till now and would really appreciate if any one could clarify whether there is any anomaly with the scoring algorithm. I am curious about this because in both the tests I got the same score. Even tough the number of questions I got correct on both the tests are same, there is a start contrast between the level of questions I faced on both occasions. I am breaking down the number of questions types for you guys to have a better picture,
CAT 1 = 31 (Verbal) (27 Correct, 12 Wrong, 2 Left)
600 Level Questions = 20 (Correct = 13, Wrong = 5, Left = 2)
700 Level Questions = 09 (Correct = 03, Wrong = 06)
500 Level Questions = 12 (Correct = 11, Wrong = 01)
CAT 2 = 31 (Verbal) (26 Correct, 15 Wrong, 0 Left) (Out of first 20 questions I had 16 correct, but unfortunately had to rush through the last 6 questions and that probably decreased my accuracy of four 600 Level questions. )
600 Level Questions = 13 (Correct = 7, Wrong = 6)
700 Level Questions = 22 (Correct = 13, Wrong = 9)
500 Level Questions = 06 (Correct = 06, Wrong = 0)
Also, on a side note, how many 700 level questions one can expect to encounter if he is moving towards a verbal score of 42-45.
Many Thanks.
