oppps tough ...some1 pls pass by here

Cost of labor = L
Cost of materials = M
Total cost = L + M
Price paid = 500,000.
Profit will be 500,000 - (L + M)

Stmt1:
L+M = 3M => L = 2M => profit will be (500,000 - 3M) doesn't tell us if it is more than 150,000?
Stmt2:
{500,000 - (L+M)} > L => 500,000 > 2L + M, still not sure if profit could be more than 150,000?
combining stmts:
500,000 > 5M => 100,000 > M. Cost of materials was lesser than 100,000. Cost of Labor will be lesser than 200,000. Total cost will be lesser than 300,000. Total profit will be greater than 500,000 - 300,000 = 200,000 which is certainly greater than 150,000. Therefore, both statements combined, Yes profit will be greater than 150,000.

Nice explanation..
