statement 1 is insufficient because we have no idea what z is equal to from the table.
statement 2:
r=q+q = 2q
s = q+r = 3q
t = 4q
u=3q
v=6q
w = 10q
x = 4q
y = 10q
z = w+y = 20q
this is sufficient

Thanks, I should just follow thru and play with it, but I always fear taking too much time to tackle it.
I should have realized that they are not looking for an exact number just an equation, z= 20q.
