hey everybody,
i gave gmatprep(1st test) 2 days ago and got a 730(50q,38v)..... and i think that the scores reported may not be representative.
while i have encountered contless posts about the accuracy of gmatprep scores, i have also read that gmatprep does not contain repeated questions.......
but in my case, while the quant questions were new, verbal questions were repeated.......
sample this :
out of 11 cr questions, 7 cr were already seen by me(either in OG, or 1000cr or in SETS)......
1 sc was from 1000sc
and 1 rc(4 ques) was from 1000 rc.........
moreover, i think that the algo is also a bit inflated.......... i made 8 mistakes in quant and still managed a 50......
this seems odd to me......
whereas quant is not a major concern, getting repeats in verbal is a concern when i think that GMATPREP is not representative and thus, i dont have anything to benchmark my score........
can anyone pls suggest what should be done in such a situation 2 know where m i standing??

man,at the scores you are getting 700 should be well below your range.But to be on the same side try kaplan and Manhattan tests:they usually give lower scores and are harder but not representative of the Actual Gmat.As you must have heard from other people Gmatprep and powerprep are the most accurate estimators of your actual score.
