I think I know what you are talking about though your description of the issue is a bit short.

There was a change to the system that requires one to select the answer choice and click the submit button to a save/record one’s answer to the last question.

In the past it was sufficient to just select the answer but that’s no longer the case.

HI bb,

What would be the solution for this issue? Do we need to submit the answer with 10 sec remaining?

What if we have 15 sec remaining and have 3 questions left. Atleast we need to read and select randomly.

I see you mean is that even though you have selected and subsequently submitted the answer, it is not captured?

Your original post that says “select” is vague. I would suggest revising it so that your question is specifically stated.

I have tried asking you to specify but you did not clarify. It is a waste of everyone’s time trying to guess which I’d the possible scenarios you are referring to.

Also, you did not say which product you were using or which test number. That is another issue with your post.

YES, My Apology.

Yes, For the last question I read, solved and submitted. It was 5sec remaining, however, the submitted answer was not captured

Thanks. Which Test was it? GMAT Prep 1/2 or 3/4/5/6?

I doubt this issue will happen on the real GMAT really since the connections at the test center are much better and i am guessing (not sure) may be running the apps locally. Whereas GMAT prep relies on your network connection and frankly does not have the best track record in terms of performance levels.

Thanks,
BB.

I agree that you likely do not need to worry about this issue happening on the actual GMAT. That said, it’s always a good idea to give yourself plenty of time to submit the last answer. So, when you have 10 seconds left, try to get in your answer rather than waiting until the final seconds.
