From the stem we know that Bob's sale isn't the median. So based on the question we know that Ann's sale is greater than Cals regardless of the error in sale.
Ann > Cal and Median 330000
30000
(450000 - 30000) > (190000 + 30000)
420000 > 210000 satisfies Ann > Cal but the median still remains 360000
48000
(450000 - 48000) > (190000 + 48000)
402000 > 208000 satisfies Ann > Cal conditon but the median still remains 360000
90000
(450000 - 90000) > (190000 + 90000)
360000 > 280000 satisfies Ann > Cal conditon but the median still remains 360000
120000
(450000 - 120000) > (190000 + 120000)
330000 > 310000 satisfies Ann > Cal conditon and the median becomes 330000.
Answer . Since it satisfies both conditions.

We know that Ann's sales are overstated, but are still higher than Cal's. Also, the median of the sales is now $330,000, a figure that must correspond to Ann's actual sales. (It can't be Ed's or Bob's (above median) or Dorothy's (below median))
So the incorrectly recorded sale was 450,000-330,000=120,000
