I did a GMATPrep last night and did only the Quant section. I wanted to get a feel for where I was with my prep over the last 6 weeks.
I looked at the number of questions I got wrong and it was like 7 or 8. I wasn't so surprised to see that number of questions wrong, but what I was surprised was to see Q48 on the score screen.
I realize there is not formula like "Get 3 wrong = Q52, 5 wrong Q49, etc", but 7 or 8 wrong seems like a lot of to still get a Q48. I do not want to get overconfident. I'm taking the GMAT for the second time mid-July for my apps this fall. My verbal is my strongest part. I got a V38 (for an 84%) on my first take, but I believe I can get that up to an 44 - 47 easily since I did about 1 weeks worth of verbal prep before taking the test in April.
Thoughts anyone?
Kudos to those that take the time to give a thoughtful, helpful response.
