Hi all,
I took both exams on GMATprep but I found it to be scoring very weirdly.
For instance for the second exam, I got 12 out of 37 wrong for quantitive, and 10 out of 41 for verbal. This would lead one to believe that I did much better on verbal, Right? 25/37 (67%) for quantitive vs 30/41 (75%) for verbal. Well, it turns out it's the compelte opposite; I got 48 on quantitative but 39 on verbal
I could understand if the score was similar between the two, or even if quantitive was slightly higher but, in this case 48 is almost 25% higher grade than verbal's 39, when quantitive should be 8% lower than verbal.
How is this possible? I found the same reuslt on the first exam too, although I don't remember the exact details of the score.
What's going on here? Is this just an freak occurence, related to experiemtnal q's, etc.?
