Hello!
I took the GMAT prep and the following are my verbal score
Test2 Verbal 28 (I reviewed and found out that I got 13 incorrect out of 41)
Test1 (Reinstalled) Verbal 34 (15 incorrect out of 41)
I wonder why although I got fewer incorrect in the Test 2, my overall verbal score is lower than the Test1. I know GMAT has a special algorithm
to calculate the score but this was a little strange to me. Does my mistake on the first three questions in the Test2 have something to do with the V28 score?
Quick response will be highly appreciate. I've got only 4 days left before my G-Day!

The scoring is also based on the difficulty level of questions you got wrong...though it does seem a bit skewed too much. A top verbal score is ~46. Getting 15 wrong..unless the ones that were wrong were only difficult questions, that could potentially get to 34 and make sense.
On the other hand, getting 13 questions wrong and getting a 28 (even if the first 3 were incorrect and bring you to a lower bracket to begin with) sounds like a bit of a stretch. Somewhat questionable - the only way it could happen is if you got all the easy questions wrong and this really skewed you lower in your overall raw score.
Getting the first 3 wrong would impact your score to be skewed lower but usually not to the level of disparity that you mentioned.
