I just took the Gmatprep1 Test. I did not have a good experience with it. When i clicked the next button, it would take seconds to load. (approximately 5-6 seconds). I thought it would be more instantanoues like powerprep. I dont know if this was the software's problem or if my computer itself had problems. Anyone have similar problems? Anyway, that had an effect on my test taking and timing. In addition, i was on a laptop and did not have a mouse so i instead used the sensor mouse which was annoying.
I thought the math in Gmatprep was comparable to kaplan's. I did not finish partially due to the slowness of the program. I only got up to question 32.
The verbal was like OG. However, i didnt like how wide the sentences were across the screen. It was awkward. I expected it to be more condensed like powerprep. In any case , i did finish the section.
There is some overlap with OG. I thought i bombed but i finished with an ok score-640.
Anyone else feel the same?

I have 10 days till the test. I feel like i have reached a peak cuz i just have not been improving. I have been studying on and off since june and have been putting in more and more time since then. Today i just took gmatprep2. I thought the math was harder than kaplan's. Anyway for some reason i jsut cant finish. I only got up to question 32. I did not finish verbal this time. I only got up to 37. however i got a score of 660. (46m, 35v) I am not satisfied because i want atleast a 700. I am just disappointed right now.

I had a similar experience with Gmatprep.
It took a lot of time about a 1min to bring up the next question. It made me rush thru the sections though I kept telling myself i should concentrate on accuracy.
I could solve 35 in Quantitative and 35 in verbal.
My score was a disappointing 680. The worst part was that I lost a lot of points to silly mistakes.
I think I have reached my limit in terms of new tricks and grammar rules. there is a scope for not making silly mistakes but that has a bearing on your general attitude toward getting things done right the first time.
the real thing is in a week. i am not losing much sleep over it right now but find it interesting like golf. Its important how you do on a day when you need to impress someone - its the big b-schools here.

But I understand your concerns about the quant percentile!
