I had similar experince with GMAT prep. After one test I was reviewing the explaination of one of the CR I got wrong, after clicked on the button it pulled up the explaination for a complete DIFFERENT CR question?!

what the heck, I hope this is not the final release software since it's buggy and slow!

Good luck to both of you. I'm sure u guys will do well. Disregard your previous CAT scores and go in with a positive attidude. I'm taking it again this Friday, but I'm not so tense as I have a satisfactory first attempt score to fall back on. Once again, good luck!!

yb - I read your post on your first score and if I were you, I would've just accepted the score and called it a day! But I understand your concerns about the quant percentile!

Best of luck to you! I know you will get the percentile that you want!

thanks TeHCM, vivek123, and yb.

and good luck to you guys. Hopefully this will be the last time we have to take this. Anyway here is a tip. Don't eat turkey or chicken before your exam. It can make you sleepy.

yb,

what did you do your last week for verbal before taking the exam? Did you just go over the CR's you got wrong? did you do new ones? My biggest concern is cr and rc. I wanted to get more practice so I am currently doing Lsat Cr's and i realize that they are in a slightly different format. lsat rc is good though. There is not as much heavy emphasis on strengthening/weakening/assumtion/inferance as there is on the gmat. however, i did all the ones in og. do you suggest that i just go over my errors or should i keep doing more lsat problems? I feel that going over my error log for cr is pointless because i already know the answer.

Joemama, I completely agree w/ you in that there is not much benefit in going over CRs that you have attempted before (b/c you know the answer). Also, LSAT CRs didn't help me much due to the different format.
Note that for RC, the most important skill one must develop is the ability to focus and absorb what is said in the passage. If that is mastered, the questions are not that difficult. LSAT RCs are long and wordy, making them ideal for mastery of this particular skill.
For CRs, I spent the last week doing NEW problems from the 9 ETS Paper tests (approx. 5 out of 9 have all new questions for CR, w/o overlap with the OG). Also, I think it helps more to do them 1 or 2 at a time.

Good luck

Hmm - I had a similar experience in GMATPrep. After the test I pulled up the verbal for review and it gave a totally different question.

This happened for about 2 or 3 Q before I got frustrated and stopped for the day.
