Hey guys... I took the gmat on December/2010 and got a 580.
I have been now studying for the past 4 months and am ready for the last month of preparation.
I just took the GMATprep1 at the mba site and got a 670. 42q40v
I will now start going over my
error log, and start studying verbal. My prep for the past 4 months has been stricly quant and a little of SC in the past 2 weeks.
I have no problems with RC and I don't have time to read a full book on CR, so I'm thinking of reading a guide that I downloaded here from a gmatclub member.
I believe that going over my extensive quant
error log will help me get +2/4 points in quant. I also want my verbal score to be a little more solid. I'm not a native english speaker. I'm still on chapter 6 of Manhattan SC guide.
Anyways, my plan for the last month of prep (I scheduled the test for July 18th but have 1 week of travel in the middle):
1) Quant
ERROR log!!!
OG 12 and Quant 2
OG. Know ALL of the questions I made a mistake by HEART.
2) Focus on my quant weaknesses: algebraic translations, combinatoics and probability.
3) Finish SC guide and review the SC rules
4) Read the CR guide that I downloaded from GMATclub.
5) Take 1 MCAT exam per week and the GMATprep2 exam on the last saturday before the test.
Now my question for you guys: Does my plan seem like enough for a 700+?? I am basically relying on the OG12 and Quant 2
OG for math questions. Should I practice more challenging questions elsewhere? Since I am strong at Verbal, I'm not sure I need a 50 in quant, specially since I am WEAK at math, so should I just focus on the
OG questions??
Please help. I really, really, really need a 700+ in July 18th. You guys know the jist...it feels like my whole future is depending on this score.
I'd be a little more confident in the 670 if the gmatprep software wasn't notably easier than the real gmat, but considering I couldn't even score a 700+ there, will it be possible to achieve it in 1 month of prep???
