Let n be the number of items produced last week.

(1) Total for last week => 36x + 1.5x(n) = 480. Two unknowns, can't solve for n. Hence, insuff.

(2) 36x + 1.5x(n + 2) = 510. Two unknowns, can't solve for n. Hence, insuff.

Now, combined, we have two equations, two unknowns. So, we can solve for n. Hence, suff.

Hope this helps.
