At first I thought you said that GMATPrep was no longer free...now THAT would be a problem.
I guess GPN will have to change its slogan from "All you need. For free. No strings." But the guy deserves to make a profit. It must have taken a while to produce all those videos...I certainly don't have the patience for it.
I think the larger issue here is that video learning is not the best type of learning for many. I would say in-person instruction is best, followed by book learning, then video learning. Yes, videos are easy to watch, partly because they don't require as much reading as text explanations do, but videos also engender a very passive type of learning that often fails students on test day.
The GMAT is a very much a test of one's close reading abilities. So why study for it by watching videos?
