I have an undergraduate GPA of 3.78 in Nepal.
I have a graduate GPA of 3.79 (AACSB accredited University in USA)
I am doing Master of Philosophy in Management and expect to graduate with 3.8 GPA or above.
I have four years of teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate students in Nepal (where I am from).
I have published a research article in national level journal and one of my research article is selected in international conference to be presented in Feb. 2015.
However, I believe GMAT is not my cup of tea. I believe why not spend time reading some research articles, or doing some research than waste time on GMAT. Last time I gave GMAT I only scored 550. On my worse day it might be 500 and at best might be 580.
I want to do a PhD in Management in USA. Can anyone suggest me where should I apply or what type of universities who most likely accept me?
If you really want to get a PhD, and you know that they require a stellar GMAT for admission, then why would you put that goal at risk by writing a horrible GMAT? You might think that the 550 is OK because of your articles. An admission committee will think either (a) "we don't have much idea of whether this guy just took easy courses or if he just did well, but he must not be that good because the GMAT is the one comparable stat we have", or (b) "this guy seems good but if he doesn't want to do something he clearly doesn't put much effort into it and perhaps he is lazy." Both of those are deadly because even a PhD program you like will have lots of work that is unpleasant and miserable. If you don't work hard at the unpleasant stuff as well, you'll find trouble getting people to work with you.
My #1 suggestion: You need to study for the GMAT like your future career depended on it -- because it does. Then worry about where to apply.
