Was wondering if anyone knew a good class/training on Negotiations. I did not take a class during my MBA and now my employer is generously offering to invest into my skills (perhaps they are not happy with my current level and things are not that positive? or perhaps they are telling that my MBA sucks?)
Either way, I doubt there is going to be a windfall but I could probably convince them to invest $3-5K into a 3 or 5-day training program. Has anyone heard of anything that stands out?
Harvard Law Program on Negotiation - looks good but feels as though I would need to attend 4-5 different courses to really get a good/complete sense of it
And I am aware of the famous Wharton course on negotiation (but it is $11K, inclusive lodging and meals). I do own the book Getting More and have gone through a good chunk of it but never finished.

My bf took it some time ago and said it was worth the money... I do not work with him so I cannot speak to the effectiveness. Maybe worth checking it out and its about 3k for the 3 day program.

Thank you for confirming this and providing insight!
I did find the PON (program on negotiation) and liked it (the price seemed one of the most reasonable ones around)
P.S. It looks like employer has a deal with cornell which offers a substantial discount on their classes/programs, so there is a very strong chance, this will be my only choice, but I am hoping i can get a choice.
