Hi guys!
I just took my first GMAT on 27th November and scored 640. However, my target is 700+ and I didn't score high in verbal as I expected. Is it possible to gain my verbal score from 27 to 35 in just 3 weeks? In my mock tests, my verbal score ranges from 25 to 32.

First off, a 640/Q49 is a solid score (it's just a bit shy of the 75th percentile overall), so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. As such, a retest might not be necessary. There's certainly no harm in retesting though - and you have the potential to pick up some serious points in the Verbal section. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Actually, the minimum Gmat score requirement for the programme I want to apply is 650. I think I will attempt to retake the test.
1) I have been studying for 2.5 months. I spent around 10-15 hours per week for studying
2) For Quantitative, I used Gmat club tests to practise
For Verbal, OG, Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction, The PowerScore GMAT Critical Reasoning Bible
3) Gmat Prep CAT #1: Q49, V41, 730 ( I see lots of repeated questions that I already did on Gmat clubs)
Gmat Prep CAT #2: Q51, V30, 680
Gmat Prep CAT #3: Q49, V23, 610
Gmat Prep CAT #4: Q50, V27, 640
I am going to apply for Msc. in January. Most of schools I am applying to are in Europe.
