Hi Scott,

Thank you for your time.

After my MBA I want to work in the finance/investment sector. I am doing CFA too.

On my leadership skills- Little in office though but I have done quite few tasks in my school/college. Since Its just been two years and I am straight out of college, not much opportunities came my way during work. Though there are few instances that show my leadership skills.

I will be surely apply for ISB but I want to have few other options, good ones.

At work I am a good enough performer and will be able to get good recommendations as well.

Please provide your insights. Also, travelling is my passion and I have been doing that a lot since I started earning. :-D

Thanks.

Ideally you will get clearer on your post-MBA goals in terms of a specific role, but for now this is specific enough so thank you. Regarding extra-curriculars, that is a weak part of your application because schools do look for involvement post-undergrad. In terms of the LOR, many applicants get stellar letters so I would want to work with you on finding the right person who would have great things to say about you. (you say good enough, so I'm not sure if you are just being modest here or not).

I recommend looking into the programs below. Since you have less experience than the average applicant, and in a field that usually meets or exceeds the experience, the application should be carefully crafted to make sure the best parts of your stories shine. Have you considered retaking the GMAT? For someone with your background, you would help yourself a lot if you could increase the score. We do targeted GMAT tutoring and could pinpoint your areas of need and help you boost the score, and even do this while putting the applications together. If you could add 40 pts to the score, we could be more aggressive with schools.
