hi guys sorry for replying on study strategies so late...
well some pointers from me:
1. powerprep and gmatprep lately are true indicative for your scores.
2. the actual gmat is more closer to gmatprep for both quantitATIVE QS AND VERBAL QS.
3. the qs on this forum are sometimes more difficult and of a different type than on the actual gmat. do the OG well for Verbal. that is the source from where the actaul qs are modelled.
4. there comes a point in prep where u feel bored going over the same qs. so dont give yourself too much time...a six month prep is useless for gmat.
5. it is more imp to take practise test with the essays writing to build stamina than doing 100s of qs of say sc at a go.
6. a clarity of fundamentals and knowing how to solve qs of the types mentioned in OG is very imp. you dont need to do lots of qs, just get to know HOW to solve each type.
hope this helps.
