So i took the GMAT today. Totally messed up the english part.
My final score was Quant 43, and Verbal 29.
So far i used the
Manhattan GMAT books to prepare, i am burned out of them, and have used the OG 12 and OG supplemental questions.
Although i did not solve many new questions, i didn't take too many Cat exams.
MGMAT CAT Exam 2 days ago : 650
GMAT Practice 4 days ago : 670
I was in shock when i saw the score, but i am pulling my strength together for doing it again. GMAT is my aim, and i will push over it. I really let my guard down in verbal today. While i was doing the verbal section, at first i lost 2 minutes in break time. I was not able to catch back on it and finished 39 out of 41 questions, ending on the score of 29. While taking the test, there was one RC in the end that just blew my mind. I am sure i got all 4 questions about it wrong. I was running out of time, and it was a very intensely packed RC, i sadly wasnt able to keep up.
On the quant part, i solved every question, there may be 2 questions that i was stuck and guessed but all rest i solved and found the answers, and was pretty sure i got them right. The questions also seemed easy, which also scared me since that means i am doing it wrong since it keeps giving same level or lower questions. In the Quant, i have no clue how to build up my score. Please help how to jump across this 43 bar. I have done
MGMAT books all of them very thoroughly for Quant. My weakness is Inequalities which i will work again on.
GMATClub, please help me develop a good approach to achieve my goal. I am aiming for 750, and am willing to put the effort and hard work. i know i did not do many practice exams, and my new goal is to do as many of them as possible. Please point me to the right direction.
Alot of my friends tell me they understand how i feel, I really don't think they do. Only a GMAT test taker can understand the stuff i am going through right now. I want to make it my strength.
