I gave Gmat yesterday. Honestly I wasn't prepared. But deadline is so close(Feb 1, 2014).

However, it is HARD to restart if you have been out of school for 15 years.
Expect to do a lot of catch up. I would recommend getting a copy of the MGMAT math roundations and MGMAT verbal foundations

Hi Crowhero,
If you take the time to practice, you should be able to increase your first score greatly. Take the time to read some of the fantastic stories on GMAT Club's boards about how fellow GMAT test takers increased their scores by a couple hundred points. I've learned a lot from reading them and by learning about what study strategies worked for them.
