Any chance you think it's worth reinstating all 3? Or do you think that would look worse than just submitting one of them? I also got a 690 on my very first test in October (42Q, 42V, 8IR) (I really messed up Q here..just hadn't mastered time management) hence all my retakes, thinking I could achieve the same verbal score one more time. But alas...
I don't think reinstating more than one makes sense. Another score doesn't show much additional.

Did you change the sequencing of the sections after the first test? If so, it may indicate that you need to improve on your test taking stamina.

I always did quant first. Today I started on verbal first, but unfortunately, I had issues with the online exam :( I guess at this point I will just reinstate my last score and see if I can reschedule, though I'm not sure I'll have time

I was hoping for 750+,

Quote:
Exam 1 (11/9/22) Q51, V37, IR6 (730)
Exam 2 (12/3/22) Q49, V40, IR7 (730)
Exam 3 (12/20/22) Q50, V39, IR7 (730)

If you retake, if you feel your Verbal fundamentals are solid, consider working on your solving approach. May boost your score a bit. Had a student who already had a V41 get a V45 in about 10 days. They ended up with a 760 with their ultimate Q/V combo. Perhaps work with a study buddy with strong Verbal skills to see how they approach the section. This sort of learning doesn't have to take very long. I only did 6 tutoring hours with the student, for example. All the best.

I wish I had more time to retake :( I studied verbal a lot more intentionally before my last exam, though unfortunately had it marked as technical error. Maybe I will have a chance to take it again in another 2 weeks and will be able to submit late scores :/ Will reach out to you if this is the case.

Hi dimesquared,

First off, each of these 730s is an outstanding Score, so you would likely be fine submitting any one of them - and you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. If you are planning to apply to any Finance-focused Programs, then the Q51 is probably the best option (although again - any of the three would be fine). You're ultimately asking an Admissions question though, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to act on that advice, the better). There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

I cancelled the first 730 thinking I could do better. The 2nd time I got a 730, but I had 1 more appointment scheduled and canceled the score. I got yet another 730 on my 3rd try

I was hoping to take the GMAT online one more time and had it scheduled for today, but had severe technical difficulties and after calling support they said they'd mark the exam as incomplete. Now I'm not sure I'll be able to schedule another one and do it before R2 application deadline, so just weighing my options. I was hoping for 750+, but it is what it is, at this point.

Exam 1 (11/9/22) Q51, V37, IR6 (730)
Exam 2 (12/3/22) Q49, V40, IR7 (730)
Exam 3 (12/20/22) Q50, V39, IR7 (730)

Hi dimesquared

I would prefer to go with the third test score as its breakup looks more balanced to me.

LOL, just an update. I ended up retaking a few days ago (for a waitlist update) and went verbal first for the first time. I think my test-taking stamina had a lot to do with my lower verbal scores. Ended up with 760 (Q49/V46)!
Wish I had done it sooner!!!
