I spend my undegrad in a small college in Iowa. To be quite honest, Iowa is a solid school. However, coming out of Tippie you will have very limited career options as far as geography. From what I know about Tippie graduates, especially the international once, most of them ends up in Des Moines. Des Moines is a local town, 300,000 people with the subs, but for a town this size it has very strong finance industry. Most of the major insurance companies in the U.S. have their regional headquarters in Iowa (it has to do with very well writen tax and law ordinances in iowa for the insurance firms). And other firms have been moving that way as well, ex: Wells Fargo has just moved its morgages headquarter to Des Moines.
So there are plenty of opportunities, and they seem to love Tippie graduates in Des Moines. But, there are also quite a few red flags:
a) it will be hard to get jobs outside of iowa/mid west...cities like chicago or minneapolis will be a long shot
b) the wages in des moines are much lower than in chicago, so you will be making 60-80k coming out of mba, or so...but the cost of living is also very low
c) companies in iowa (so Wells Fargo, Principal Financial, etc) are very reluctent when it comes to hiring foreigners..for undegrad they simply refuse to hire anyone without a green card....so i am not sure how they will look at your situation after MBA, but given the fact that they need mbas and especially if you have some computer skills (Indian, right:) that may be a different situation
best
