I'm sure this question has been asked before, but a quick search didn't bring up anything definitive. So here we go again - My GPA is on a scale of 10. How do I convert it to a GPA on a scale of 4? I was in the top 2% of the graduation class, if that's relevant in any way.

You do not need to convert it. Most (if not all) schools will have a specific field for you to enter your grade point, whether it's on the 4-point, 5-point, or 10-point scale. Don't worry about converting it; adcoms will do it for you when they see your application. But if you want an estimate, top 2% will most likely mean a 3.7+.

I would suggest mentioning that you were in the top 2% on your resume, as I do not know how accurate their conversion system is. If you are from a relatively lesser known school, they may not have metrics to convert your scores.
