Hi there,
I am about to finish up a masters in engineering and I hope to undertake an mba program in Europe after a few years of work experience. I am most interested in the energy sector, both sustainability consulting and energy policy. I currently have a few job offers, both of which I would enjoy doing, and I would be very grateful if you could help me understand which would be more attractive to prospective b-schools. The main two I am currently considering are:
- Graduate Petroleum/Subsea Engineer at large o&g services firm
- Graduate Energy Policy Analyst in the public sector
I am really unsure which position would give me an edge, or if I would be better of going into management consulting. I would really appreciate any help, and I hope this is the right forum section to ask this!
