nkothari1997 - First, you are not supposed to find grammar issues in an official Critical Reasoning question. Instead, please focus on the reasoning. That said, I would like to clarify that there exists no grammar error in the sentence. I understand you believe there is a comparison error. However, there is no comparison in the sentence in the first place. The sentence presents a contrast by using the coordinating conjunction, 'although'. I recommend you brush up on your sentence correction concepts, strategies, and tactics.

Probably better to not focus on grammatical issues during RC the way you would on SC.
That being said, when you see stuff like ":" or ";", it can be helpful to know what grammatical roles they play so you can better understand the structure and meaning of a sentence.
