I'm a Penn alum who has a great apartment just off Rittenhouse Square in a building popular with Wharton MBAs. Due to work relocation I am leaving Philadelphia and am looking for someone to take over the remainder of my lease, which runs from now through end of April 2021. It can be extended to May 2021 if needed, making it a perfect opportunity for someone looking for a lease that mirrors the academic year rather than the full calendar year. I have flexibility in when you want to take over the lease (any time in July or August). The lease can also be renewed for a second year if you want. In other words, it's a fabulous opportunity to jump into a lease that can run from summer 2020-end of May 2021, and then renewed for your second year to end of May 2022, allowing you to finish the lease at the same time you graduate! Management is also flexible in extending just for a month or two if needed.
The apartment is a 1-bed, 750 sqft apartment on a higher floor with amazing west-facing views, including sunset views, and just 1/2 block south from Rittenhouse Square and close to the Penn shuttle and all the usual Wharton haunts and cafes and bars. Plenty of Wharton students live in the building. Management is highly professional and stays on top of any issues, I've never had any pests and it's been an utterly worry-free residential experience. 24/hr doorman staff, making it safe and secure.
Rent is $1900 a month plus $60 for gas, and your electricity on top (averages between 25-35 a month depending on usage).
