We are lookin for other ways -the center will benefit in other ways from the increase in tax (the correct ans should not have anythin about pool because that has already been mentioned in stem. May be the pool was attractive to people and they knew pool would benefit them ,hence we need that OTHER REASON. )

(B) the tax increase is scheduled to be reversed within a year of the community center’s opening. (Reject - this clearly shows a benefit. the people can et their pool + they will get back the money they invested for BUT this doesn't show how the INCREASE in tax will help)
(C) private investors will be more likely to help fund the center once it is known that it will include a pool. (CORRECT - this shows another benefit of INCREASE IN TAX. the increase in tax will help people build POOL but this pool will attract more investors to build complete centre and this is how the increase in tax is helpin here to et the whole project done . )
(D) once the community center is built, the county expects an increase in the construction of residential houses. (Reject - the word EXPECTS means we are not certain + if center is already built then how would the increase in TAX help in other ways ..ways other than ettin pool made ?

A, B, C, E are irrelevant since they are talking about the benefit that the centre will bring.

D makes sense since if there is more construction of houses, more people will move in and so more amount of sales tax will be collected which can fund other things. I think the Swimming pool part was just there to throw us off.

It should be D , It can't be C as the increase in sales tax will be more than enough to pay for the construction of pool . So even if private investors come to know about the plan of pool and invest there , it's not going to affect much as the already there is enough investment for the plan . D seems to suggest another benefit of this
