I honestly cant say with 100% conviction I know for 100% sure I'd pick Chicago but I'm leaning in that direction for a few reasons (if you want to know why just ask). I'd say 80, 20 odds I'd take GSB.
Congrats Rhyme, that's pretty sweet. You must have been an easy admit considering how early they called you.
I'm hopeful, but not optimistic. Chicago was my first application, and my essays for subsequent applications have been so much better that I feel like I'd be really lucky to get in.
For the rejects/wait list, I wonder how they notify you? Email? Certainly not a call, right? All this waiting is making my heart pound.

I doubt I was a clear admit - my GPA is low - 3.0 - my GMAT is strong but I took it THREE times. I honestly think that going to Fall Preview, connecting with students and admissions officers and probably a HUGE essay effort did it. My work experience is also very mixed.

i told ya rhyme!!! i knew u'd get in!!!!... looks like I MAY see ya in some classes if i take them with the full time folks... u definately deserve it...
by the way i spoke to an alumni and she said that it was definately VERY competitive as the application rates rose 40% this year... she's highly active with recruiting and stuff so she's probably pretty accurate...so u definately shud be honored as this was a VERY competitive year for business school
Speaking of days dragging... Can you imagine MY Wednesday the 20th which starts roughly 9 hours earlier than the blessed dawn on the Great Lake of Michigan? Huh?
