OK. GPA that translates to about an A in the US. 700 or above GMAT. Some work experience and EC's. I would say ESSEH and Georgetown. You would be competitive for UT, but they like domestic students who tend to have less of a business background. HEC Paris, don't feel confident enough to really say one way or another.

If you had business/finance work experience, it would help. If you went to say BITS or something like that, it would help. Applications in the US are down, which is something that will work to your advantage. The visa situation should ease up with the new administration in office, but employment is still touch and go here. Your work experience could come off as filler since it isn't really related to the degree and it is a friends start up.

My advice - apply to more schools and look at MFE programs. Your background is better suited for this degree and they have more international students so they are more open to it. 4 schools isn't going to be enough for you.

Thank you for the advice. I would certainly look at MFE programs and would start looking at more schools :)

Sir, I have changed my mind since your last comment, I am more inclined towards MSBA now and have done some research about it too.
How strong are my chances of getting into UT Austin MSBA,UCLA MSBA etc. with this profile?

I think your odds of various MS Business Analytic programs is pretty good. These programs are newer and looking to increase admissions. You have good scores and a quantitative background. I would expand your applications beyond just UT and UCLA, but you look competitive on paper.
