Yes, that's very likely and hence why you must go through program by program. It's a pain but a necessity!

Yes, I had checked with few more universities but they require both Gmat and LSAT scores. Considering, all these factors which include my age and work experience both. I think that I should go for one year MBA program and then later after completion of MBA I will consider to pursue a law degree and that too alongwith the job. What do you say? Would that makes any sense?

The MBA plan makes sense, though if I were you I would also open yourself up to the part-time or executive MBA programs too. With 10+ years of experience and your overall plan, that might make more sense and may be easier for you to get into brand name programs.

The law school approach seems unusual. Are there many part-time programs? Also, law school tends to skew younger since most attend right after completing their undergraduate degree so I would check out how truly viable that plan really is. We're not experts in law school; we do some work with law school admissions but we're mostly business and graduate school focused.

Good luck,

Yes, I totally agree with you with 10 years of experience it will be a way more difficult for me to get admission into a one year program in a top B-school, but I believe it's not that impossible if I be able to explain my case more precisely in my essays. And one year MBA program makes more sense to me.
