Dear Hjort,
I have taken advice from you and accepted.com and have decided to go to Babson College for Entrepreneurial Studies.
I have a more pressing situation. I am not sure if you are aware of any visa/immigration issues. I am just trying to get some anwsers. I am currently on H1 B visa working full-time. I have decided to pursue full-time MBA studies starting Fall 2006.
Does anyone know if I can still keep my H1B status and work part-time and study full-time.
How many hours do I need to work in order to keep H1 status?
How long does it take for the paper work to go through if I choose to transfer from H1 to F1?
Any help in this matter would be appreciated. If anyone reading this post knows of anyone in this scenario, please le me know.

You can keep your H1-B status and study part-time. You cannot keep your H1-B status and study full-time. If you intend to change from H1-B to F-1 (to study full-time) you need to file the appropriate papers to INS for an ammendment. I suggest you contact an immigration lawyer, if you want to change from H1-B to F-1. Good Luck!
