No, I have not heard back from HAAS yet. I think they should get back to me next week though. I would think it takes them no more than a week or 10 days to review your application amidst all other applications..

Anyone in a similar situation (acceptance from UC Davis and waiting for HAAS' reply)? Have you heard anything from HAAS?

I am actually in a similar situation. I expect to hear from them within the next week or so.

Did you hear anything from HAAS? I have not.

They actually did call me yesterday, but only to say that there is no new news they can give me. I think they only expedite it if your admission decision is clear one way or the other. So in the mean time I will probably just accept another school until I hear from them again.

This is a bit late for those taking the waiver exam tomorrow, but for those taking it at a later date, you can watch webcasts of statistics lectures on webcast dot berkeley dot edu (this forum won't let me post a web address until I've been registered for five days)

Then select the statistics department. most webcasts are just audio, but a some are video. I recommend this one:

Oh yes, that statistics 21 class lecture on YouTube is doo good. I have already listened until 11, too bad my exam is tomorrow and I don't have enough time to finish all 25. I will try to cover and review as much as I can tonite.

Any idea/guesses what the available seats vs. applicant ratio must be at this point. Considering there are almost 100 seats remaining and may be 80 people already in-queue from round 1 & round 2 waitlist; also not sure how many applicants are in third and fourth rounds, just trying to quantify the chances...

Apparently third round admits are already being issued. Just saw the roll on first page of this forum. Could others admitted recently update here. But offcourse there are bunch of us still waiting and hopefully this is the last week of wait.

Yes, i called them yesterday and they told me that everyone, absolutely everyone will find out on June 1. I am guessing only if someone does not accept they may offer a few afterwards. So atleast the "Wait" will be over.
I am sure everyone is going through the same anticipation anxiety.

Are there any R4 applicants in this forum? If so, did any of you see updates on the your prerequisites recently?
I still see them blank. Since it is about a week from the decision date, I am now starting to wonder if my file has been touched or not!!

I applied in R4. I got my file status changed to in-review a few days before the interview. I had my interview last week and the pre-req status changed to completed for quant and in-complete for statistics yesterday. I am keeping my fingers crossed...

I am a R4 too.
Both my Pr-requisites are complete.
Status: File Under Review since a month.

Frankly I dont think updating prerequisites has anything to do with adcom. I believe the prerequisites are a parallel process to the actual decision making.

As long as you've been interviewed, I'm sure your file has been reviewed.

During my interview process, the interviewer stated the application would be reviewed by an admissions person followed by the person that interviewed you. My interviewer then stated a decision would then be made on my candidacy (I'm sure prospective students whose profiles are borderline or accepted have additional reviews against the overall applicant pool).

This will be a tense week!

Did any one hear back from admissions in the last week? I remember reading something about R4 decisions on the website that June 1st date is valid only if all the application paperwork is in place. Does it mean that Haas might still keep some applicants on wait-list to evaluate against any R4 applicants on whom they are waiting for more info? or will every one who applied for 2012 will surely hear back on /by June1st?

I spoke to them last week and I believe you can still be on the wait-list after June 1st. But by then I think it is more a matter of a slot opening up due to a person not enrolling than anything else.
