Ok so last to last week i took GMAT prep1(12th July) and scored 640 (q42,v37)
I was happy bec after my first attempt of GMAT exam (16th June)(score :480), this "640" signified that i have improved since then.. ..n i had worked on certain areas of my weaknesses like SC, combinations, number properties..
and i continued with the studies further....with full zeal
Today i took GMAT prep 2 and i was shocked to c a 540 (Q40,V25)...
Now i really dont knw what to do.. i cldnt analyse my results this time bec accidentally i clicked NO when the window asks "whether u want to resume the session ....".
So, now i intend to take the test again... but considering a fall in verbal what do u all suggest...

First of all your quant seems steady..so that is real good news..however quant is something which is completely under your control ( as against RC where you might get a horrible passage) ..what I mean is that quant is a cash crop if you really practice hard..so dont be complacent with quant...try to score the max...which is possible with loads of practice.

For verbal, yes you need to practice more...review OG explanations again if you have completed all problems..verbal score largely depends on your CR and SC...you got to get most of them right..as for RC prep you need to read a lot..read something which is really good in grammar...i suggest 'economist' :)..

And spend more time in reviewing your wrong answers than solving questions..it is worth it :)
Good luck for your next try.
