This spreadsheet rocks! This is the exact type of information that I needed to know. I took the GMAT the end of April after going over the Math & Verbal Kaplan books about 2 months before the GMAT and then picking them back up for about a week or so before the test. I wasn't even really planning on looking into top-tier as the University of Oklahoma MBA program is a well respected (#62 overall in US News) regional school around here (Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Missouri area). My score and law degree will easily get me into OU's school, but this spreadsheet showed me that I need to take the GMAT again and prepare better for it, and I might actually have a shot at some of the better schools. At least, I would feel like I wouldn't be wasting money by sending in the application fee.
