Kavya003
My name is Kavya. I'm pursuing my graduation in sociology. I'm planning to apply for Harvard mba 2+2 this year. I'm going to write my gmat, next week. I'm not confident that will score above 700.
I scored 9.5 in 10th,
97.6% in intermediate and 8.36 cgpa in graduation. I have skills in digital marketing and done an internship too. I have worked with few NGOs too and trained few children. I am very active in sports and won few competitions.
Do you think I can get a seat in Harvard?

Kavya003,
Thank you for sharing. Successful applicants have already demonstrated considerable leadership through internships and extracurricular activities, either on or off-campus. I would like to know more about your internship experience to see what kind of work you did here. I am also curious about where you are pursuing your sociology degree.
Strong candidates have a clear sense of their career goals as well, though this often comes only after working together with a consultant on the applications. Harvard 2+2 is one of the most well-known deferred MBA programs, and also very competitive.
A 700 GMAT or below will make it more difficult for you to stand out – so you will definitely want to work on maximizing this score. As for the other components of your application, it is key that you demonstrate leadership and successfully articulate your MBA goals.

Where else do you plan on applying besides Harvard? Many other top programs offer deferred MBA programs.
Personal MBA Coach recommends applying to 5 to 7 to maximize your chances of acceptance.
