International students who applied in Darden EA deadline.

Has anyone recieved interview invitations?

It is going to be 2 weeks since the deadline, and understandably I am a little worried.

Rhyme,

What do you suggest? Should i be proactive; send them a mail asking about whether they can help me schedule an alumni interview?

umm, I don't know the procedure for international students, but I believe Darden interviews all applicants on campus and it is up to the applicant to arrange the interview. Do they restrict international interviews with invites?

There interview scheduler just works for the oncampus one.

From what is stated on the site. They understand that it is not possible for everyone to visit Darden for interview. For such applicants their advice is to submit the application without interview and if the ad com finds it necessary to have a talk with you, they will contact you.

I was thinking of sending them a mail just to show my eagerness towards the program.

Should I or should I not?

I never see the harm in being a little persistent as long as your not being overbearing. An email re-expressing your interest is not a "bad" idea, just keep it short and sweet.

I would contact them. Darden seems to be one of the most receptive of the elites when it comes to contact. I have read numerous stories of people that were admitted off the waitlist after providing additional info an so forth.

If I were you I would call - the interview is pretty much mandatory and I wouldnt want to leave that up to chance. Why wait for the adcom to come to you when you can go to them?
