Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried two different organizations for GMAT prep simultaneously? I mean, one for quants and one for verbal.
Do you have some online test prep companies in mind? If yes, I would think that as long as you select two good companies you should be fine. You might end up spending a bit more money though. If you're going for live classes, I would recommend the same company, so that you have one instructor who knows everything about your GMAT prep.

Not right now actually. I am just focusing on self prep. I am yet to take an official CAT. I will take a call based on the results.
The query came to my mind, while I was just browsing through courses. Some companies were providing verbal only or quant only courses and have garnered good reviews. So, I just thought if anyone has tried multi-company prep, may be they can give more clarity on how beneficial or cumbersome it was.

From what I've read here, it can get bad if two sources have completely different recommendations/approaches. But that's when someone uses two sources for the same thing. Many more say something like they use X for SC, Y for CR... which could be even more complicated than what you're asking, but seems to work anyway.

Yeah. That's exactly my concern. But I was thinking of non-overlapping courses and also broad categories, like one for quants and one for verbal.
